The name smartLOXS is a combination of smart Logistics & Access. smartLOXS develops, supplies, and maintains solutions for the automatic identification, registration, planning, and control of people, vehicles, and shipments within logistics (air freight) chains. The goal is to achieve authorized and verified access to buildings and company premises, and to make logistics processes safer and more efficient.

With smartLOXS systems, you decide from your own workstation who can do what, when, where, and what. The technical system management is fully managed by smartLOXS. This significantly reduces IT costs and keeps your organization flexible.

We call this unique concept Security as a Service. Our services ensure that thousands of truck drivers, couriers, visitors, and employees are quickly and reliably identified and authorized every day at Schiphol Airport, the Port of Amsterdam, and other logistics hubs. With smartLOXS, you control who enters, without assumptions and with complete control.

About the founders

smartLOXS B.V. was founded in 2004 and originated from a partnership between Cargonaut BV and 3BK Holding BV. Cargonaut BV holds a 65% stake and 3BK Holding BV a 35% stake.

Cargonaut BV provides information and communication technology (ICT) and e-commerce services. The organization focuses on the transport industry and supports logistics business processes with innovative ICT solutions. Cargonaut BV is a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Schiphol Group.

3BK Holding BV is an independent consultancy and development agency specializing in logistics services. Its core expertise lies in translating complex market and process needs into applicable ICT solutions.
3BK supports organizations in the development, selection, and implementation of systems that improve logistics business processes. Its clients are primarily active in container and air freight logistics.
